About me
For the last 8+ years, I have worked as a video producer at GBH News in Boston, where I have covered issues ranging from public education, to immigration, to the housing crisis and politics. My short films have won multiple awards, including four New England Emmy Awards, one national and seven regional Edward R. Murrow Awards, two Gracie Awards and a National Award from the Education Writers’ Association. Most recently, I reported, produced and edited the film “Never Cried: Boston’s Busing Legacy,” which was an official selection at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and the Roxbury International Film Festival, and received honorable mention from the Women's Independent Film & Television Festival.
Previously, I worked as multimedia editor at The GroundTruth Project and as a Kaiser Family Foundation health reporting fellow at GlobalPost. I am a graduate of Columbia Journalism School and Colby College. I live in the Boston area with my husband and two young children.
